Brass Fire Heated Branding Irons made by L&H Branding Irons are made of rust resistant non-corrosive, heat resistant copper alloy and have a 1/4" flat face. They produce a good clear brand because the unit is vented at intersecting points to prevent blotching. They are also equipped with a heavy-duty, one-half inch steel handle, 34 inches long.  These branders will not turn ash grey as steel irons but will retain its natural dull copper color when hot.  The advantage of this type of iron is that you are able to brand more than one animal before it needs to be re-heated also custom designs are easily created due to the unique manufacturing process use in this type of branding iron.

Caution should be taken when using these irons in a propane heater, if left unattended they can become soft and distort.
